anybody go hunting yet?me and my brother both got does opening day!!sorry dont have and pics.trying my hand at making deer jerky right now.

We have been a couple times since archery season came in with no luck.90 degrees here hasnt helped any but we just hunt public land until gun season comes in then we have a couple small leases we will hit up.If we get 1-2 with archery gear its just a bonus.

congrats on getting some early jerky.we usually marinate for a day in the fridge in a mixture of 1 cup soysauce,1 cup worchetershire sauce,a little brown sugar ,and either alot of black pepper or cayenne pepper.throw it in the dehydrator and its done the next day.sure makes the house smell good. :D

hope u get some!!thanks.i will have to try that on the next deer.ha i can see why 90 degrees hasnt helped.
