I plan on spending most of my time in this section, as I will be using my Commander mostly for hunting. Looking forward to do some mods.

you will love it for water fowl hunting, Archery Rob and I use ours on the Potomac for fishing and hunting. Where are you located ? We remove the seat and use Primos Hard Core blinds to lay down and cover up with. good luck this year and most of all be safe, cold weather hunting and fishing is dangerous.

when did you ordered it, and when did it come in? I was told the new 2013's weren't ready for shipment because of a seating issue, obviously thats a bunch of bullshit.

Wilderness, Greg and I are out in Washington County. If you want to take a ride You can see them up close and personal or I can send you some pics.

I made my totally out of cordura and reclaimed webbing from a old tramoline. Greg was from old field hunting sleep bag type blinds we cut and sewed for him.

A few quick pics

Raffia just added

Mine pre-paint or raffia. I figure I wasted my time painting now, but the idea was to be able to hide near rocks, but I zip ties all the raffia on now, so the paint is useless now.

Greg in his and not laying down, as he was supposd to for the photo oppotunity.

Our blind designs pretty much need the Commander Dash board to secure it on the front end. AND I got plans for that too. :D

Those look great guys. I plan on hunting waterfowl out of my Native Watercraft Ultimate 14.5 next year. Trying to figure out a good, but REALLY CHEAP way to make a blind. Any how to info would be fantastic!

1st, can you sew? I have my Mom's old sewing machine and learned from her on the basics. The webbing would have broke me if I could not have found it for free and saved it.

If you can't sew, Buy nylon Minnow netting and cut and zip tie a blind. The cordura helps with blowing wind, but minnow net will not.

I can post pics about making my dashboard and blind, but it's not going to fit the Ultimate as you do not have the slide trax to top. You might be able to figure out a side mount to the side trax system they have. I have seen some other permanent dash boards made for them

Thanks for the input. No, I can't sew. Nylon minnow netting eh? Hhhhhhmmmm, I will check that out. What are you using for grass and where did you get it? Gotta be a cheaper option than some of the commercial stuff made for duck hunting.

Oh and my Ultimate is the angler model and does have the top slide tracks.
