Don't forget to wash down your kayak, rods and reels with fresh water. You could be sorry if you forget.

Plopping everything in the Big O on Sunday should help  Thanks for the reminder that issue is probably the only thing that keeps me from fishing saltwater more than I do.

Thanks Everyone for all the great thoughts, Ideas and Help!

Damit Man... HURRY UP Wednesday!!!

Don't forget the GPS. It's easy to get turner around in the mangroves.

:D Loaded up with Clousers, Gurglers ( even tied a few of my own ), some Shrimp patterns, new redfish taper flyline a pile of SW leaders and bute tippets, various Floro leaders, Spooks, DOAs, Jerks, Gulps, Gold spoons watched some Way Cool and informative videos, looked at maps and sat pics, printed out driving directions and maps of the areas.....

Anybody have any ideas on how to make the next 5 days go by a lil faster??

Going fishing with Tnorm Sunday so that might help

I have to say something about the epoxy shrimp flies I saw down at Mosquito Creek Outdoors yesterday. Damn there's some tiers that have talent and patience far beyond what I could ever hope to have, those shrimp looked so real I had to stop by Captain D's on the way home for a snack

I started carrying a 5 gal bucket of freshwater in my truck when i go saltwater fishing so I can rinse my reels as soon as I get off the water instead of waiting until i get home.

Josh, I carry a 5 gallon water jug in the bed of the truck to rinse me off after a day on the water...nothing like a rinse down and a clean shirt for the long ride home. :D

Heh, I'm willing to ride home "salty" in more ways than one. My Daiwa Zillion will not travel in those conditions, lol
