In Oregon walleye and smallmouth bass are invasive species and hated by the folks who focus on salmon and steelhead. What is being done about them? For my part I try to fish for them as often as I can :)
Fish tremble when they hear my name :)

I just spent 4 days fishing with KnotRight down here in Louisiana and in one 6 hour trip in a small flooded backwater we caught: LMB, Crappie (LOTS of them on spinnerbaits), Bowfin, Channel Cat, Spotted Gar, Chain Pickerel, and Drum....all in one 168 acre "pond".

Chad caught his PB bowfin (about 15lbs) on a spinnerbait and I caught one about 12lbs on a hollow-bodied frog....that got caught on tape....AWESOME. We caught dozens of crappies on full-sized spinnerbaits; yes, some were VERY large and will get released into a vat of hot oil.

I said we fished for 4 days; that's not accurate. We fished for 3 days and went HOG hunting one day. Ever seen a 300lb wild boar run to ground by dogs and hog-tied?

Tune in to Chad's TV shows this spring to catch it...if you think it's exciting on TV, you ought to witness it first hand, on foot, at ground level.

Wish I could...Stupid Comcast..No WFN in my area... because (according to Comcast reps) there isn't any place to fish here.

Ok..so the Susquehanna and Juniata Rivers are figments of my imagination (and Jeff Little...pasmallies...and a boatload of other people on this site.)

Not sure where you're located but i'm about an hour outside (Northwest) of Philly and WFN comes in (not in HD and its channel 727 for me). Kayak Bassin' is definitely one of my favorite shows.. i even have alerts to let me know when they're showing it (which definitely isnt enough!)
