Northern Pike

Hey guys I had forgot about this post. We did another trip to these lakes in 2009 but this time took the Kayaks. We drove 14 hours from Cincinnati to Espanola and then took the kayaks 8.5 miles to the portage to a lake off the beaten path (not that they are even that busy) but noone was there. It rain every day of our 4 days except for when we headed out. We plan to do it again but this year we had another trip we did (motorcyce trip to AK and back)

We never got to this spot on our return trip but we did catch alot of Bass and tried for Pike on another lake (only caught the one) Since it was raining so much I didn't get many pics of the Bass we caught but we did pretty good on largmouth. A few smallies and some catfish (first time we'd seen catfish up there) we had a blast and can't wait to do it this spring or next fall.
