For the original question, keep "Other Species" separate from "River Fishing."

I say change the river fishin to river bassin and keep it seperate from Other species.

A calendar for meet ups/events would be nice, so one can see graphically whats going on and what is happening at the same time, etc.
A map showing where members are generally located would be nice.
The way the folders are broken out now seems to work fine for me.

I would say keep them separate. "other species" could be anything. River fishing for bass is very specialized. Fishing moving water for bass is complex... location, time of year, day to day water conditions, presentations.
