There are two levels of entry for the Wilderness Systems Kayak Challenge Series. Each Challenge may be entered individually or by purchasing a KBF BASSPass. The KBF BASSPass will make you eligible for all Challenges, special promotions and other discounts. KBF will donate a significant portion of the proceeds generated from the Challenge Series to
HEROES ON THE WATER.

All fish entered must be caught from a kayak within the legal methods by the specific State Department of Fish and Game. All fish must be caught on Rod, Reel, Line and Hook with
ARTIFICIAL LURES ONLY.
2. Eligibility for Challenge Series is established by registering an account with KayakBassFishing.com. Member must provide name, email, phone number and city and state of residence. This information is required for Challenges that are based on location to determine scoring of fish. Update profile to include State at a minimum by going to the user control panel located at the top of the forum(s). After registering an account at KayakBassFishing.com, click on the
CHALLENGES button at the top of the page, then Click on the REGISTER button and follow the entry procedures.

Then Click the Register Button and follow the directions to ENTER.

After successfully entering the Challenge the
ENTER FISH button will appear.

You will then be able to enter fish by clicking ENTER FISH and selecting the appropriate species, length and upload your photo.

3. Photographic evidence must include a shot of measuring device used if requested by KBF to determine acceptability. Rulers may not be drawn, hand written or stenciled. Measuring devices must be clear, unmodified official rulers. RETRACTABLE TAPE MEASURE DEVICES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ANY TIME. Any questionable submissions will results in termination of submission if angler fails to comply with requests for verification from KBF administrator(s). It there is any question about the validity or acceptance of your measuring device, post a photo in the
CHALLENGES AND RULES under the topic ACCEPTABLE MEASURING DEVICES for approval by KayakBassFishing.com or approved moderators. Individuals must have an active registered account for 48 hours prior to making any submissions for Challenge consideration.
4. A clear photograph of the fish with mouth completely closed and tail in a natural, un-pinched position. Fish photographs must also contain the current unique identifier. The unique identifier will be available once the Challenge eligibility begins. Visit the
CHALLENGES AND RULES forum for specific details. Only digital photography will be accepted. A minimum deduction of ONE FULL INCH will be enforced for failure to follow the prescribed photo requirements for each infraction. Entry will submitted by uploading the photo in the Challenge Application by clicking the Challenge button on the website header bar. After successful registration, the REGISTER BUTTON will appear as an ENTER FISH button. Click on the ENTER FISH and use the application to enter your fish by species and length and then upload photo.
PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES5. Fish caught from March 1st, 2010 to January 29th, 2011 are eligible for submission. Fish caught prior to registration are ineligible. Each Challenge will have prescribed dates and any fish entered after deadline expiration will be ineligible for scoring. Each Challenge will follow these basic guidelines along with specific rules listed for each specific Challenge where necessary. The rules will be available by clicking the VIEW RULES button in the Challenge Application. The
VIEW RULES button will become active within 24 hours of the Challenge start and the
UNIQUE IDENTIFIER will be posted in this window when the Challenge begins.

6. All fish entered must be caught in the Continental United States. Fish caught in Mexico and Canada are ineligible for submission for the 2010 Wilderness Systems Kayak Fishing Challenge Series.
7. Eligible species and minimum submission criteria will be listed in each Challenge by clicking VIEW RULES.
8. Use of electric motorized kayaks is permitted. Only fish caught from kayaks are eligible. The use of similar paddle and hybrid craft is allowed with previous approval of KayakBassFishing.com. For questionable craft that may not qualify, contact KayakBassFishing.com for eligibility determination. No craft operating with gasoline or other petroleum power propulsion are eligible. The use of motherships is permitted provided the angler is fishing from the kayak when the catch takes place. Again, the kayak must be clearly visible in all photos.
9. Catch, Photo and Release is the required method of submission. No photos of dead, mutilated, frozen or otherwise damaged fish will be accepted and all photos must have the kayak visible in the photo.
10. Fish submitted may
NOT be considered for multiple Challenges with the sole exception of the Hobie Pro Angler Big Bass Challenge. Anglers are only permitted to win the 1st Place prize in one Challenge. Each subsequent 1st place finish will result in receipt of the 2nd place prize and a gift certificate worth $200 to any KayakBassFishing.com sponsor. The angler will still receive the points for first place towards the Wilderness Systems Challenge Series Angler of the Year.
11. Entry must be submitted within three days from the date of catch. There is no hording of fish. Unique photo identifiers may be changed at any time rendering all previous identifiers or identifier combinations inadmissible. Eligibility is not established until the entry is received by KayakBassFishing.com and posted in the appropriate Challenge portal. (Don’t procrastinate entering fish as identifiers may be modified at any time, usually with 48 hours or less notice) In the event of an exact tie for length in any position, the fish that was entered first will be awarded the tie breaker for the higher finishing position. It is imperative that the board clock is set correctly or your settings are correct. It is each anglers responsibility to ensure that this is correct and the only official clock is that of the KayakBassFishing.com Administration. Here is guidance on ensuring that your clock is set correctly.

Then Click BOARD PREFERENCES on the left side
Then scroll down and make sure that underneath MY TIMEZONE that you select NO under Summer Time/DST is in effect:
SET SUMMER TIME/DST is in EFFECT: to YES AFTER DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME IS IN EFFECT12. Angler of the Year calculation will be based on participation in Challenges based on the place finished in each tournament. Points will be awarded based on those prescribed in the VIEW RULES button on each Challenge in the Challenge Application.
13. Any attempts at cheating or fraud will result in permanent suspension from KayakBassFishing.com Wilderness Systems Challenge Series and disqualification from the Angler of the Year eligibility.
14. All photographs, stories, accounts, likenesses and information pertinent to Challenge submission will be used by the Challenge Sponsor and KayakBassFishing.com for marketing and promotional purposes. The entrant releases the use of this information without expectation for additional compensation upon submission of entry.
15. Upon approval of a Challenge win, the entrant agrees to display the Winner’s Signature Banner provided by KayakBassFishing.com or the applicable sponsor for a minimum of 90 days after qualification as Challenge winner. Challenge Winners that finish in First Place in any Challenge are required to display the Challenge Winners Banner from the applicable Challenge for a minimum of 180 days. Users are encouraged to retain banners as part of their signature indefinitely.

***Protests or Disputes are only allowed for your submission and anglers may not dispute the catch of another angler. All decision by KayaBassFishing.com are
final and any dispute must be handled by PM or email. Sponsor contributions will not be devalued by disputes or disagreements in public forums.
Publicly disputing any decision by KayakBassFishing.com will result in participants receiving one warning and permanent disqualification for repeated offenses. If any angler is dissatisfied with the ruling of KayakBassFishing.com, they may request a refund of thr Challenge Entry donation at any time. Refund of Challenge Entry donation will result in termination of eligibility for the remainder of the Challenge Series and for
ONE FULL YEAR following the date of the refund.****
