I don't have pics for a SBS, but I can give you the steps I go through with them. I have made my own from basswood and synthetic wine corks, these are on the hard foam Wapsi Saltwater bodies. Get the body fixed/glued to the hook shank, then the fun begins:
-white "primer" coat of the entire body (at least 1 coat)
-3 coats of base color of your choice (metallic pearl on the trout and baby bass)
-2 or 3 coats of red for the popper face
Eyes (baby bass version):
-large metallic copper dot, after that dries
-add a slightly smaller Inca Gold dot inside the copper dot, then after that dries
-add a smaller metallic black dot for the pupil
Last brush painting steps (baby bass):
-add a stripe down the sides of olive pearl
-fill in the back above the stripe with metallic festive green
I have a pic of this point:

-add varied line of olive pearl dots under the side stripe (towards belly)
-add varied line of metallic pearl dots at the bottom of the side stripe
-add varied line of festive green dots at top of side stripe in olive pearl painted area
-add varied line of olive pearl dots above the side stripe
-stipple back area with forest green paint, I used three dot sizes. Start big and fill in with smaller dots until covered
After that dries:
-coat body with Delta Sparkle Glaze and allow to dry
-coat with clear epoxy of your choice
-after epoxy cures, coat with Hard as Hull as a top coat
After all that, tie in your tail and collar of your choice and you're done.
