evening at the local lake

Slipped on out afterschool today and put the kayak in at a local lake that will remain unnamed, The goal was to find th 30-50lbs carp that inhabit it and catch them on the fly, but only two were to be spooked. So stuck with throwing the 6wt for bass, and did quite well.













was a good day, 20+ fish in 3 hours. biggest around 15in. and a pretty big slab crappie.
