Mid-Atlantic Kayak Bass Series?

Suggestion on Susquehanna to make it north of the confluence of the Juniata; as the fishing is better up there. South of Harrisburg we aren't catching much; our PFBC is trying to get the PADEP to declare the river impaired south of Sunbury, due to a myriad of problems, including high young of year mortality, intersex fish (like the rivers in VA have been plagued with, columnaris outbreaks in YOY, etc. .

I would be in. Just dont know if I would be able to make it to every event. My schedule is crazy packed with work/school/family.

BUMP... I wanted to bump this back up to see if there is anymore interest? Maybe we could have one event this year in October to get of feel for the support?

Say $20 entry fee, with pay out to top 3 anglers (total length of 5 fish) and big bass pot?? Thoughts????

I think the lower Potomac would be easy to accomodate a lot of anglers, we just had 20+ kayaks fish Mattawoman Creek this past weekend, so that would be my suggestion for the 1st event?

I'm also extremely interested in this... From Jersey, but a Mid-Atlantic Region member nonetheless...The only thing I could hope for is a event on the Delaware river as parts are in Jersey, or an amazing fishery not too far from me in the Manasquan Reservior. 800 Acres of pure Hawgs of both Black species and Hybrid stripes too just as a bonus.. hah.. Either way, I'd like to see if any progress on this has been made as Im a new member and this was posted originally a few months back.. Great idea though!

October does give me a bit of time to save up and make the trip if we can throw this thing together foreal.. I see that nobody has responded to the Bump... So, Therefore, I'm re-BUMPING in hopes we can get some more creative juices flowing on this idea again... So... BUMP!

I would really like for this to happen, but I just don't have the time at the moment to try and get it going. (moved into a new house and start grad school next semester)

I think it will happen eventually though, kayak fishing is only growing.

Probably gonna be geared more towards the md, dc, va areas but kayakers will be welcome from anyone to fish the whole series or just a single event.
