I've never been to Tenoroc but that might be a good call. I went out to Lake Kissimmee at Joe Overstreet road today. The lake is flooded from all the rain lately and it's a major paddle to get anywhere. I'm not sure it's "kayak friendly" a little wind and it could get real unfriendly.
John's Lake is good spot but pretty busy on the weekends. I haven't been there since June, last time there was a bass tournament with 40 boats, they had other things on their mind besides watching out for kayakers
