Ok FPBers, we are staying sort of local this month as we will be trying our light and ultralight skills at Quiet Waters Park, 401 S. Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach, FL 33442.

Like always, we will officially start @0800, but a few of us will probably be there around 0700-0730. The exact location of where to meet will be posted on facebook as well as in an email blast when we figure it out.

Wow, that's some clear water. Count me in this time. I dont have much in the way of ultra-light gear but I'm game. Or maybe that's my excuse to pick up something new. :D

Shoulder is coming along. Not great but good enough to fish. :D

The last two times I went out it was against my therapist's wishes but I didnt paddle far and took it real easy with a low paddle. The last time, it felt a ton better. I probably shouldnt do long hard paddles yet but I can definitely fish. Looking forward to it.

ok guys, I went to Quiet Waters today to figure out exactly where we should meet, and due to the area still closed off from the renaissance Fair, we will be unable to launch there, so we will be forced to move the event to another location.

I have a location that is very nice for kayaks, has a LOT of fish, and is near a Publix....how much better can it get? LOL....it is a little park just south of Sheridan St on NW 172 Ave. Directions are easy, exit Westbound on Sheridan St exit off I-75 and you will go about 20 blocks to a traffic signal at NW 172 Ave, make a left, go a couple hundred feet and enter on right, and then come to your left. Thats it.....

I will email a map to all on our email blast list and post on facebook. I apologize for the short notice....

That's a pretty nice looking little lake Frank. Super easy to get to as well. Thanks for doing the work.
