HOOK 1 Ride115 SOLD!

Postby HearadonCatch » Wed Jul 11, 2012 10:37 am

Well, a new job with a new location has forced me to sell my new and best kayak yet. The Ride115 in the new HOOK 1 Knot Right green. I've only taken it out 5 times. I'm selling just the kayak, but I can include the milk crate that I've built for it which has 5 rod holders (3 vertical and 2 that sit at 45 degree angles). The game plan is to get settled in California, and more than likely I'll become a pacific salt fisherman (maybe a Hobie in my future). So their it is!

SOLD

Congrats man - Cali has some awesome waters to fish both fresh and salt - why not have BMO or ARC drop ship it for you? Any reason you can't rack it and transport it? Hate to see you lose such an awesome kayak......although a Hobie isn't bad either ;) ;)

Well, mostly because I'll be so close to the coast, that and the nearest freshwater will be at least an hour away (which is easy), but I want to get out there, settle in, and then pick up yak fishing again when its time. Its a big adjustment for the family, so I want to make it easy for them. I've done this plenty of times being in the service, but this is new for them.

The job is in San Clemente (which is more like Camp Pendleton). We still haven't picked an area to live in yet

Congrats on the new job buddy! Sorry to see you leaving the area, but that sounds like a great opportunity.

I sent you a couple texts, and yes I'll definitely take it. I'll even let you borrow it if you want to hit the susky before you leave for the west coast

I'll call you, I have the cash and can swing up over the wknd.

Dude, you'll love San Clemente. Old Man's, T-Street & the Pier are classic surf spots. Great scenery, great eats, and classic CA liv'n. Enjoy. I'm envious.

Many opportunities to fish the salt either from shore or the piers. When the water's flat (no surf), a yak's ideal to hit off-shore sand bars & jetties. Not so much when Surf's up.

l/m bass opportunities are easy and within an hour or two drive. Big ones. I've seen them caught over 20#

Didn't see a price 4 the yak.

Yea, I'm stoked! It's been over 7 years since I've lived in Cali. I lived much further up the coast, but I've been to San Clemente before. The price is in red just above the first picture, but DT and I have been in touch, and it looks like this yak is getting a great new home!

I must be colorblind.

Enjoy the area.

Make sure you get some mirrored shades. 8-)
