Great ending to a GREAT Story!!! There's nothing like sharing my joy of fishing with my two fishing buddies. I love when they hook a fish. I used to take my Dad fishing with me for many years. One day I was on a really good bite and my Dad was struggling to catch any. I'd trade rods with him and continue to catch fish while he struggled even more. I think he wasn't retrieving fast enough that day. I noticed that he wasn't fishing so I turned to the rear of the boat to see what he was doing and he was just sitting there staring at me. I asked why he wasn't fishing? He just said he wanted to "watch" me for awhile. Fast forward to last year. I'm fishing with my 6yr old son. We went fishing for some yellow perch. We had a "honey" hole and my son was hooking one after another. We were allowed 10 fish a person. I found myself just taking his fish off the hook, measuring to see how big they were as they were much bigger than minimum size and waiting for him to hook another one.

Now I understand exactly why my Dad wanted to just "watch" his son enjoy this sport.
