The Milkcrate magazine

Postby Too Busy » Thu Feb 23, 2012 9:49 am

Im not sure how many of you are familiar with The Milkcrate. I spotted them on FB a few weeks ago and began reading the interviews. All in all there have been some really well done pieces.

Last week I got an e-mail from Chad asking if I was interested in doing an interview. My response OH HELL YES!!!

Anyway. Chad's interview ran on Monday and mine yesterday. Go back and read some the older stuff.

Really good reads throughout the magazine.

Great read Tommy - I agree, it is a cool spot on the web to catch up on folks like yourself and Chad that are making a difference. Well done!!

Thanks.

Don't know if you read Rory's or not, but just awesome story telling power in that kid. Same with Luther.

I have, and I get several ideas on style and format from them and the other blogs I follow. I can only hope to reach that level of expertise and writing style as my experiences unfold both now and in the future.

What I've noticed is there are some natural storytellers. Rory is a natural and I think he gets it from his Dad.

I have to work at it and I get some help from a writing coach. Most of my articles take three or four drafts before I'm satisfied with the result.

Nice interview Tommy - very sincere and well spoken. You captured many of my thoughts and likely those of others who share a love for the sport. Well done.
Thanks, Mike
