What do you do when fishing season is over..?

Im looking for more outdoor activities like fishing to do when fishing season is over any ideas....? ive always wanted to hunt but being only 16 i dont think id be able to hunt by myself haha

Where you are from? I assume you have a closed season?

I live in New Hampshire haha when winter hits i actually have not fished in the winter or heard of any types of fishing

Here in Bama 16 is the legal hunting age (by your self that is). Are you sure it isn't 16 there? Although I know you have to be 19 to buy any sort of rifle or shotgun here in Bama. Bow hunting is more fun any way :lol:

I prolly could look it up and i will agree bow hunting is 10x better from the videos ive seen on youtube i just dont no where to start on it and idk how long the hunting season is here

Hunting is kind of exspensive to get started in, but once gear is bought it is cheap yearly! Just hunting license, scents, and ammo (arrows are reusable if not damaged! :lol: ). And hunting season is over down here except for squirrels, it probably is up there too.

But winter fishing is the oppertunity to explore lakes and catch BIG bass. I've found that fishing ponds (smaller lakes),rivers,and creeks are pretty darn fun to fish in the winter for bass. There also has to be some good trout streams around there? Just a spinning combo, split shots, worms, and hooks are a great way to catch trout with out having to fly fish. Spoons and such too.

Ya but fishing in the winter isnt everything frozen out..? and I would love to hunt and Cost is not an issue i just would want to do it for a decent like 2-3 months which in new hampshire i think Deer hunting goes from September to December or something like that i just dont no what i would need for bow hunting and i would love to fish year round if you could go in more detail haha
