Sitting at the VA Dental Office - Waiting for my appointment time to roll around.. I spotted a reader's digest.

Sweet. Back when I was in the Corps I used to carry one in a cargo pocket of the camo uniform when I knew I would have a "hurry up and wait" day. Great for short spurts of reading.
In one of the Humor sections, I saw the following:
A Mass State Trooper pulls over an elderly female and while he's sitting in his patrol car running the info; he sees that she has a concealed carry permit. Back to the car and he asks if she has a weapon in the car.
"Hmmm," she says, "I have a .45 caliber 1911 in the glove box."
"Really? says the trooper? "A .45?"
"Oh, and a 9mm Smith in the Console.... " says the Grandmother.
"A 9mm in the Console.." says the trooper.
"Sure you didn't forget any?" the trooper asks sarcastically.
"Oh, I'm sorry... a .38 in my purse." responds the elderly female driver glancing at the bag sitting beside her on the seat. "My Bad.."
"Geez Lady, What are you afraid of?" the trooper asks her.
Looking him straight in the eye the driver gives him a sly smile and tells him:
"Not a damn thing."

I don't know how i missed this.
She could have been my Grannie. Before she died, I found a 32 in her closet. "Oh, where did that come from. I forgot i had it." She retired from the Miss. State Trooper, 38 years with them.
