Downside?

What? There's a downside?

Loyalty... they expect loyalty.

Yup... if you accept a ProStaff position they expect you to be loyal to the brand, and rightly so. They invest in you, you are supposed to show loyalty to the brand.... 's how it works.

Say you are prostaff for "Ford", you can't drive a Corvette, even off duty, even if someone GIVES you one.

If you are prostaff for Beretta, you can't be seen shooting a gold inlaid engraved Colt Gold Cup, even if you were presented one by the NRA.

All the upsides, free stuff, cool jersey, signature banner, groupies....
You knew there had to be a downside, right?

(Groupies? there's Groupies?)

I have to say that I take umbrage with the negative Signature Banner comments. Most of them are links to the companies that we represent and, as such, it is actually our duty to put them there. Those companies expect, rightfully so, a return on their investment and driving traffic to their websites is one way that we accomplish that.

Just sayin'...

It's all good. The banners aren't my thing, but I gotta have them. I'd prefer to just have the HOW down there, and keep it simple.

I got rid of all of mine except HOW. Some of it has gotten ridiculous, they fill half the page. :)

I can see both sides of this discussion, since I use to have the banners and even tried resizing them multiple times to accommodate various computer screen resolutions of respective KBF users. Unfortunately, what worked for the masses did not work for a few scattered individuals.

When the resizing efforts I made still didn't fix it, I simplified everything and just went with one small image link and the rest are HTML linked Words and Phrases - same effect as a banner and it serves three purposes........

1. It shows your support for a given product or service.
2. It keeps the signature to a manageable length.
3. It is visible on smart phones and other smaller screen size devices.

This thread has been awesome to read. My question has to do with regional pro staff, I live in California so who is a west coast staffer?
I hope the question does not ignorant.

Chad states that the Regional Pro Staf are people who go above and beyond in helping others. They be be Pro Staffers for other companies, or may not be.

I like it that there are so many KBF members that are Pro Staffers either here at KBF or elsewhere. They normally have the latest info on any of the products or organizations they represent and communicate the info in a very professional manner.

For those of us that aren't pro staffers: :D
