Fishing Shows

Postby bassfishinginpa » Thu Jun 21, 2012 10:17 am

While watching "Knot Right" on the DVR this morning it got me thinking about fishing shows that influenced my interest in fishing when I was young. For me it would be "The Fishin' Hole" with Jerry Mckinnis. What were some of your favorites?

Bill Dance Outdoors, In-Fisherman with Al Linder were always a couple of my favorites to learn from.
Shows like Spanish Fly (RIP Jose) and Walker's Cay Chronicles always had me dreaming of my fishing clear blue water one day.

Around here, we usually saw Bill Dance, Roland Martin, and Hank Parker mostly. I remember some of the others from when I was young but these were the staples. Roland is a Lake O guy so I always loved him plus his energy is fun. Hank has probably always been my favorite though. I felt like I got more out of watching his shows.

Now there are a lot more really good ones. It is fun to drive my wife crazy. :D
