The fishing opportunities are almost unlimited in these exceptional fisheries. Tell us a tale from America's Great Lakes (we just share part of them with Canada).

If you need the Hawg Trough by Friday, you will definitely get it by then if you order it Monday or Tuesday.

I went ahead and ordered it today. I called them to verify and they said there was no problem getting it out to me before Friday.
Look like I'll be hitting lake fork after all.

Hey I'll be joining the august challenge tonight when I get home. I'm guessing I just get a email for the identifier to print out?

You will be able to print the identifier at the challenge site after you join.

I know this has probably been asked a thousand times, but I'm at work and cant scan through all 15pages to check... Is there a cutoff date for individual challenges? in the last few pages I see conflicting answers. some say there is no cutoff, others say you have to wait a few days before fishing..

clarification would be awesome!

Thanks!

The ability to enter single challenges closes the day before a challenge begins. It is best to enter a few days ahead of time, so that you can get your identifier and print it out. All submitted catches have to include the photo identifier and be measured in the photo using an authorized measuring device. If you purchase a BASSPass, you can enter after a challenge begins.

This is exactly why I'm confused!

On Sunday "Shaun" asked "What is the cut off date to join a challenge? If I wanted to join the August challenge "Awful August" is it to late?"

"Knot Right" responded
"No Cutoff Anymore"

Then "WhiteWolf" responded
"2) What is the cut off date to join a challenge? If I wanted to join the August challenge "Awful August" is it to late?
A) At one time you could, but you had to wait three days before fishing. Not sure now. ???????"

Whats the final verdict?

Thanks guys!

In order to increase participation, increase the benefit to HOW and make it more fun and grow the challenge series, we now allow unlimited entry. Basically, there is no real issue because you have to be entered to get the identifier and you have to have that BEFORE you catch the fish. So, there it is. If you want to enter, you can. That all being said, please read and review all the rules. If you enter and then four hours later you post up a monster, the whole ploygraph thing could come into play..... :D
Thanks,
Chad

Thanks for the help everyone. I got home today to find my Hawg Trough at my door step with a few goodies thrown in. :) They did a great job getting my trough to me asap. They got it to me so fast I went ahead and joined the "Awful August" challenge today. Oh, and I took a day of vacation tomorrow. Anyone want to guess where I'll be? LOL!
