One of my best friends and fishing partner since the 7th grade will be a rookie on the Elite Series this upcoming season. He has dreamed of being a pro for as long as I can remember and I’m proud of him for reaching his goal while keeping his priorities straight.

Brandon, Garrett, and I were able to get out this past weekend and catch some smallies back home in Tennessee. He asked me questions about kayak fishing and I ask him questions about how in world he plans to beat KVD. We still laugh as much as we fish.
Keep an eye out for him, the first tournament is on the St. Johns River in March.
