That's right. Definitely a little tougher, but I'll say a little more rewarding. When you have to work to figure them out, it ups the confidence each time

Sweet looking fish, you picked a great day. Today is Windy chilly would not want to be on water today. Tomorrow looks promising 50 not so much wind. Been looking at adding another spinning rod setup for light plastics and tubs. What difference do you seen between your 7' and 7'5 medium light Fast TFO's? How would that compare to say 6'8 medium extra fast worm rod?

Congrats again nicely done, makes we want get out there and try some winter fishing.

Cheers

THe 7.5' has a little bit more flex to the tip, which allows the rod to cast the light tubes like I was throwing farther. Essentially there's more snap to get the light stuff out there farther. Personally, at $100 the 7.5' light action is a great rod for the light weight plastics.

As far as comparison to a 6'8" medium extra fast worm rod, I wouldn't have an idea. Never had a rod at that length. But my guess would be that it would be a little to "heavy" for throwing the light tubes and plastics. Unless the tip really flexes, but my suggestion would be to look at the TFO

OUDougman,
Nice fish brother! Catching smallies is great but catching em in tough conditions where you thought they'd be, w/the technique that you thought would work, on a day you knew they'd be biting, makes a guy feel like THE MAN!!!! YOU DA MAN!!! Congrats bubba.
