Ill throw my kayak in the meherrin and be down there in 2 or 3 days

I miss fishing the lower nottoway , meherrin and upper chowan . Its some beautiful water down there . I stayed down in edenton last year on the chowan for a few days helping a friend move but was only able to get the yak on the water for a hour or so.

yea man it is some pretty places down here!, were do you live at? cuz i fish the nottaway,blackwater,meherrin,ect... a bunch.

I live near south hill Va now but I grew up south east of emporia on the NC VA state line a couple miles off of the meherrin . I used to fish the area quite a bit , my favorite put in was hercules landing on the nottoway .

Gorgeous water! I mainly stick to Piedmont and Mount rivers, but I may have to make a few exceptions this year and go coastal!
