my trip of my lifetime

Postby motfua » Wed Jul 04, 2012 7:39 am

Thanks to my family, for fathers day I was given a trip to Wasilla/ Anchorage area for fishing the salmon run.
It's always a trip I've wanted to take, but never thought I'd be able to do it.
I leave tomorrow morning 7-5 and return 7- 15.
Will have my report and hopefully pictures when I get home.
Happy Birthday America
God Bless all who stand guard on the wall of freedom today, and those who have in the past..

Good luck, and can't wait to see your report. Our Chief just left earlier this week for a two week trip to somewhere in Alaska for the run.

Even if you've been fishing for three hours and haven't gotten anything except a sunburn and blisters from paddling, you're still better off than if you had stayed home!

Good video. Alaska is on my bucket list. Living in the NW all my life until the last year you think I would have made it up there but NOOOOOOO, I will though.
