Last Saturday morning as I was rigging up to get underway, two gentlemen put a canoe in the water.

One gentleman got in the water and moved the canoe to the pier so his friend could get in without having to get in the water.

The friend in the water then moved the canoe away from the pier so he could get in.

Well, they turtled

But I just kept my mouth shut and rigging up the yak.

!! Atleast you learned all those things on your trip! Looks like you and your "trolling motor" had fun. Thanks for sharing the pic!

That was funny... I thought there was gonna be some discussion about hybrids vs kayaks or something. Epic picture.

About those Plano's.... There are the waterproof boxes that have the blue latches that suck, and a 'guide series' with better seals and latches that actually work. Well, they work better anyway. They can sit in standing water for a while, but they can't get dunked.

Awesome pic dude.

I helped and man, woman, and their dog rescue their canoe after they turtled in the river the other day. It's amazing how heavy those things get when they fill up with water.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many is that one worth?

And I thought kayaks sat low in the water. Looks like a nice place to fish!
