need help in Orlando area July 8......

Postby Swamp Rat » Tue May 22, 2012 11:32 am

....which could be fun if you are willing. I will be attending the ICAST show in Orlando July 11-13, and before the show one of my sponsors, Snag Proof Frogs, wants to try kayak fishing for bass on, what else, Snag Proof frogs. I do not have extra kayaks for them, as both owners will be down here. I will gladly give a supply of frogs if someone would help me get them into kayaks and fish with us on waters you think they will enjoy. Any one have ideas?

Frank, I have secured my old ride 135(very nice setup) for that date. I'm sure I can get another if needed.

I'll be working July 8th but I live 5 minutes from the convention center if you want to do something close by, I may be able to offer some assistance.

I'm new to kayak fishing, and I live in the Orlando Area. I'd love to go fishing with you guys if you still need people to go fishing.

Either way...Good luck and hope for tight lines!

Good point Snook...I should have thought of that, but I guess I missed it. Hope they had a good time fishing. Any idea where they went and how they did?

We went to Lake Toho. But a high pressure system sat on top of us all morning. Nobody caught anything but it was a good time. It was good to see Frank again and Connie and Harry from SnagProof were great folks.

It was hot and nasty, but we had a fun time hanging out. Sure wish we could have put Connie and Harry on some fish, but that's how it goes.

We also got a sneak peak at the new Ish's Poppin Phatie. I'll post a review once I get it out on some of my frog waters.
