If you are referring to the summer species like Sheepshead and Flounder, then they are on fire right now. If you are referring to sharks, they are around but most of them are in the shallow inlets. I wouldn't recomment keeping any fish on a stringer in the inlets - more than a few folks have commented on other sites that they had a large croaker severred by a monster bluefish. I could only imagine what a shark would do to a fish that was attached to your kayak by a rope or stringer :shock:

Get a soft sided large insulated cooler and stow your fish in the hatch or in the tankwell ;)


Yep, I was talking about sharks. I wouldn't keep a stringer of fish attached; that rule I've seen elsewhere..and John Oast told me it as well.

so they hang in the inlets more than at the CBBT..I would suspect 'easier prey' in the inlets.
