I have several kayaks including a wooden kayak. How do I know if my wood kayak (which is my prefered boat) qualifies?

I'm pretty sure you won't have any issues with a wooden kayak unless images taken for challenges make it difficult to discern a wooden kayak vs a canoe or something.

nice yak =D

What are your thoughts on allowing someone to enter after the Challenge starts? The other option is that you can buy the BASSPass, but you will not be eligible until the start of the next Challenge.

Can you assign each person that registers a unique number that has to be in the pic?
That's the cleanest method I can think of.

Good to hear that this will be the identifier method. A cheater could catch a big fish and use a generic identifier, go home and buy in and then wait 48 hours to post the fish and unless the pic is time stamped, they could just say that it was caught the day that they were eligible to make entries. I think the unique number would be a great way to avoid all of the potential problems! I would suggest that maybe there could be a time limit to when you can enter the challenge. For instance, maybe you could enter a challenge up until the halfway point, then you would have to wait until the next challenge to enter unless you purchased a basspass, then you should be able to enter at anytime. I would be highly suspicious of anyone wanting to enter into one challege only with only a few days left in the challenge......

several great ideas here.I like the 3 day wait, with a unique identifier, with the cut off on the 15th of each challenge.any later than that ,might as well wait till next challenge.I also wouldnt mind seeing the person having to have a registered KBF account for 30 days prior for late entries.
Geat looking wood kayak.cant see why it wouldnt be acceptable.

Hey Rev, your boat is absolutely permitted. Welcome to KBF, I hope to see that boat in the background of a lot of fish pics!
