Yep, my issue is it's an expensive way to throw Senkos, even with knockoffs. Yeah, me complaining about price. Imagine that! I prefer a fluke style bait. Probably because I started with a Slug-O, and progressed to the fluke style as the industry progressed. That was LONG before the Senko came out, so I already had a system that worked for me. Zoom's Super Flukes work great, and hold up to several catches, even when nose hooked. Either way, the fish (especially super picky/sketchy, immediate post spawn bass) don't seem to get conditioned and stop biting them, making them a year after year staple.

I just bought a bag of Yum Dingers and some O rings last night.

All this talk was killing me so I had to try it. Although I thought I had some hooks that would work but when I got home, the ones I was thining about might be a little small.
Oh, and I got some Zoom Horny Toad hooks.................. cause I was horny.

When you do your O-rings, use two, in an "X" patter on the senko. Then feed the hook through the intersection so that it's PERPENDICULAR to the worm. I personally guarantee better hook ups, and less weeds this way.

if and when I throw any kind of finesse bait like a wacky, I use finesse worms and
Owner Wacky Hooks in #1, yea they are small, and some may say tiny, but I've hooked and landed some lunkers on this set-up. When the bass sucks in the wacky the hook becomes enlarged in the roof of the mouth, in turn its hard to shake free.....they've worked well for me.
I throw Senkos and wacky set-ups when I take my daughter out fishing with me...because they simply catch bass.
