Looking for a new knife

Postby susqypat » Thu May 10, 2012 8:21 am

I'm looking to get a new knife to wear while paddling/fishing. What knives do you all use and how do you secure it to your to your yak or PFD?

I,ve got the NRS Pilot.....Pretty good little knife. I hang mine upside down from the shoulder strap of my PFD.

I use the NRS Pilot as well. It hangs on the lash tab of my PFD. Not the best photo, but you get the idea. If my kayak and I get separated, the knife is with me and I can access it with one hand.

Gerber River Shorty

Same install as above

If I was to buy one new & had the extra coin, it would be an NRS Titaneum 8-)

Gerber Rivermate knife. I got it clipped onto some paracord with a double fisherman's knot tied around the shoulder strap of my pfd.

At first I thought the title of this thread was "Looking for a new wife".
