Anyone out there have any experience paddling a Cuda with a 250 or 260 cm paddle? The folks at ARC set me up with a 240cm but I have found that paddling from the high seating position and given my height (6'4") I end up real vertical and I might as well be paddling a canoe not to mention the amount of water that comes off the paddle on to my lap.
ARC is going to let me swap out the paddle I have but before I make the trip back out I wanted to see if anyone else has run in to this scenario.
Thanks for your help

I used a 260 for paddling my Cuda. It worked well for me. Also, I am shorter than you at 5'7".

You also might want to consider paddling it with the seat in both positions before you make your paddle change. It would be a shame to make the paddle swap based on the raised seat location only and then have to swap it a third time.

Excellent point on the low position. My first trip out I started there to get used to the feel of the yak and after about 15 minutes I moved the seat to the high position. Even with the raised center of gravity the stability is still outstanding and the comfort level is a close 2nd to being in a recliner. I would be surprised if I ever go back to the low level
It's probably blashphemy to say this but I found myself just drifting and doing light paddling and not worrying too much about the fishing. This could very easily go from hobby to addiction.
