Postby Knot Right » Thu May 03, 2012 1:56 am

KBF,
Well, I think we have the majority of the details worked out. The KBF Challenge Series is a great way to compete and promote our sport, but having a live tournament where there can be some camaraderie and good old fashioned competition.

The venue will be announced very soon and it is an unbelievable fishery!

50 Anglers fish for two days. Field cut to 12 after the first day!

The tournament will be an invitational style format. Here are a few ways to qualify........

- The top 10 (or more) from the KBF Challenge Series Angler of the Year Standings
- All past KBF Angler's of the Year
- All Challenge Series Individual Winners for 2012
- Any Three-Time Challenge winner (Automatic Provisional Appointment)
- HOW Volunteers - 5 Positions (Bring 1 Veteran Each)
- Regional Series Champions

$5000 Minimum Prize Purse (That's only a minimum)
Thousands more in Gear and Product Prizes
Championship will air on Kayak Bassin TV on WFN and Knot Right Kayak Fishing on NBC Sports

The First Annual KBF Invitational will be held at........

*******VIP ADVENTURES*********

This sounds like a great idea, and I hope this will bring more interest and participants to kayak fishing in all the regions especially where it is not as popular.
