no, any one of those licenses will cover you, you probably have a Virginia Fresh Water License? If so, you are good to go!

shoulder better? I thought you were out of commission for awhile.

It's my back and yes it's getting better. Physical therapy has been helping tremendously. I plan on talking to my doctor on Thursday and if I get a green light I should be able to make it. If any dragging is required Jeff has graciously volunteered to help me.

I have Virginia fresh and salt licenses so I guess I am covered. I will see what I can do!

I wish I could make, sounds like it is going to be a good time but the girlfriend has other plans for me. I will be hitting the water on Sunday, just not sure where I will going yet. Thinking about the doah, occoquan river or pohick bay. Going to be taking a buddy out with me for his first time in a kayak.

I am working on the video of the "how-to" I did at the beginning with buzzbaits and worms. It should be up soon. The big snakehead is at the end of the ""HOOK 1 Package" video seen here:

I wish I got a fully extended grip n grin shot with that thing. I received my package from Cabela's with the following to do battle with an even larger snakehead on Saturday:

a metal fish grabber
a large single shank knife w sheath (about a 7 inch blade)
many in line spinners (some were for redfish, some musky lures)
a musky chatterbait
depth charges
several varieties of large grubs (the best one was a Kalin's Mogambo)

I've also fabricated the following to target the snakehead:
Many dark colored swimbaits
An inline spinner with a #6 Colorado
several twin spin 1 oz spinnerbaits
more chartreuse 3/8 oz draggin' heads (to contrast wildly with the dark swimbaits)
and a bunch of black 3/8 oz Draggin' Spinnerbaits to hand out as freebies.
Here's the link for Saturday's sample:

I'm a relatively new KBF-er, but this sounds like a great trip. I'd love to catch snakehead, and the LMB in Mattawoman Creek are fun too. Count me in!

How many people are going? How much parking is available at the launch site?

LOL All you need to do is slit them open gut them and they are done.

Anything you throw to target LMB will catch a Snakehead except maybe plastic worms I have not had a Snakey hit them yet.
