First Frogs

Kinda new at the fly tying stuff so I figured start with something big a simple, poppers.
Picked up a 3pk of frog bodies and jumped on in...

I like that you did three different patterns on the bottom - that's the business end from a fish's perspective. I've never used a frog fly, so I can't comment on the tie, but the googly eyes are awesome. I may put some on some old beat up topwaters, if only for entertainment purposes.

Again, nice job, now go catch something with them! I want to see one of those googly eyed buggers hanging out of some slobs mouth :)

Those'll work just fine.

Since you've got 4 weeks you can work on Chad's idea for a mouse fly for September FOTM.

I pick them up at BPS in the fly shop. come in 3pks in 3 sizes, small; med; & large for $5.99 so about $2 each + hook, maribo and legs >$1 some of the kids old markers priceless :o
