If you would like to nominate a retailer to become a Kayak Bass Fishing Pro Shop and list them in this forum. Please PM me with details about the shop and some type of contact information. Not all shops that sell kayaks will be automatically added!!!

Here are some of the criteria:

Do they carry accessories for fishermen? Can they install them?

Is the staff knowledgeable about fishing and the needs of the fishermen?

Does the staff listen to your needs or try to tell you what you need?

Is it possible to demo kayaks?

I don't know if anyone has said it yet, but this is one of the best threads kbf has put up. There is nothing more important to a kayak fisherman then rigging and expanding there knowledge and flotilla . It also gets names out there of shops that aren't well known to the outsider. Plus with many of us getting ready to go out of state in the coming year to fish tournements we can look up and plan in case of something happening to our kayak we can find a place to get what we need. also it will help to get more people into kayak fishing, especially if they go to this site and see that there is a list of reputable places that will assist them in getting started. So as Knot Right said if you know a place pm him the information and support your local shop.

ARC and KFSupplies are both companies that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I gotta give my loyalty to the neighborhood guys at ARC (they really are awesome)
but for the West coast bretheren, http://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com is the deal. Even for us east coasters who want a Malibu or something not carried by ARC, they'll send a boat to the airport for like 40 bucks and you pick it up there. cheap cheap. (and they do cool mods like livewells! -good job on Rodney's boat, Seibler!)

I had the opportunity to visit one of these stores (Mission Bay) last week. They have a very nice setup and are without a doubt a Kayak Fishing Pro Shop!!! I will get them posted up very soon, thanks CJ!!!

It definitely has the largest inventory of accessories while Kearney Mesa has the most tackle.
