YOUTH INTRODUCTIONS (Start here...)

Postby yakviper » Fri Jan 22, 2010 4:54 pm

HI I'm Alan, and I'm in the eighth grade. I've fished from a kayak for three years. The kayak that I use is the Shakespeare Angler 120 by Emotion kayaks. The fish that I like to catch the most is the largemouth bass. I mostly use spinning combos, but I have started to use a baitcaster. Also I mostly use soft plastics and topwater poppers.

I would like to get to know the other youth anglers on KBF better. If you could, post a short introduction about yourself here. :D

Im kyle, Im in tenth grade ive been kayak fishing for oh Id say about 4-5 years. I paddle a ride 135 and tarpon 140. My favorite ish to target are redfish and largemouth bass. My favorite baits would have to be a topwater frog, spinnerbait, or swimbait. And I prefer baitcasters but enjoy a spinning rod or 2 on the yak :)

My name is Austin and I'm in the fourth grade. My favorite kayak is the Tarpon 120 and I also like the Tarpon 100. My dad hasn't let me get on here much but now I can a lot more. My favorite fish is redfish and I like to catch bass too. I also like to fly fish for trout in the Davidson River in North Carolina. I am lucky because my dad got me a kayak when I was 6 and now I am 10. When I was little he used to take me in his kayak to catch bass and it is my favorite way to fish. I use to sit in the hole in the front and my dad paddled everywhere. My favorite lure is the Little John crankbait and I got some for Christmas.

Austin "Knot Bad", has already been trying to get me to do the KBF Youth Team thing. I will keep it in mind and probably make it happen once we have a few more youth anglers on here.....
