New (sort of) from south Louisiana

Hi, new to posting here. I had originally joined here last year with plans of getting a kayak, but life got in the way and my saved money had to go elsewhere . Now I have money again and am hoping to be getting a kayak soon (currently scouring craiglist for a good deal). Hope to be out on the water and fishing very soon. Frankly I'm tired of fishing from shore.

I have been fishing my entire life, but this will be the first time fishing from a kayak. Hopefully I get the hang of it pretty quick. Anyway I look forward to this new experience and the added fishing mobility.

If you haven't found your way there yet, check out the Bayou Coast Kayak Fishing Club, bckfc.org - lots of guys down here fish out of yaks, and you can often find good deals on used yaks on the website. Shoot me a pm, and we'll talk about going fishing.
