THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE MEASURING DEVICE FOR 2013 is the HAWG TROUGH. It is CLEARLY STATED IN THE RULES MULTIPLE TIMES.
PLEASE READ AND COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT FOR THE CHALLENGE SERIES!

Are there any modifications to the Hawg trough that are legal? I would like to come up with a way to put the bass on a stringer or clip so it it flops I don't lose it.

It is really difficult to get a closed mouth shot with a stringer in the mouth.

One tip I got from fellow KBF angler was to have the front of hawg trough pointed slightly down. That puts a little pressure on the fish to keep it's nose flush & seems to help keep fish a little still.

It will last alot longer if youu back it with something. And I have seen more than one sink .A 1 x 4 fits the back nicely.
