Anyone in the Mt. Pleasant, Pa area???

We are going to be in the Mt. Pleasant, Pa area next week for a vacation and I was wondering if anyone was in the area. I am going to bring a little fishing gear with me but no kayak. So if anyone wants to help get me on the water I would love you for it

I'm about an hour away in Pittsburgh. Depending on when and weather, I could load up the t120s to slay some fish!

Can either of you do anything early morning on Tuesday? That looks like my best opportunity right now though something might change once we get there too.

After looking at google maps I see there are several lakes just a few miles from where we are staying near Mt Pleasant. I am considering just bringing my kayak and fishing gear. I have a PA license and launch permit for the upcoming Susky river raid. Is there anything else I need to fish in PA? Any surprises I am unaware of?

Well we qare here. I couldnt resist themptation and brought my kayak and all my gear. I have already checked out a lake just a few miles down the road called Greatlick dam. I am going to hit it in the morning. If any locals want to get together before thursday give me a call or text 540.246.3557

Hey Matt, Sorry for the late reply. PaLegend and I were actually camping/fishing this weekend with no internet access.. Actually to be more accurate, he was fishing and I was paddling around with my fishing gear.

Ill give you a call if I make it out tomorrow morning. As for rules and regs, it's pretty standard-- pfd, registration, license.

Checking out the first lake Sunday evening!



Well today I hit Green Lick dam I believe it was called. I paddled that whole lake and only got one fish to bite......and here he is! lol



I checked out another little lake off Acme road I think it was that I am going to try tomorrow!

Glad to see you got out! Don't be discouraged-- it's been pretty tough I think because of the recent rain/front.
