Jugging for Cats on Lanier

Postby ceanes » Mon May 25, 2009 7:03 pm

Me and a buddy decided to set out some catfish jugs while we went out to the main lake to search for stripers. When we returned to the cove there were several jugs that were being pulled around the cove. It was time to hit the road so I started retrieving all of my gear but there was one jug that wouldn't let me get near it. After about thirty minutes of chasing it around the lake the fish made the mistake of letting the pool noodle surface under my yak, I grabbed it to find a nice size gar.

The day ended with no fish caught on rod and reel but it was fun as hell.
