Curse you KBF

Postby yak_n_mike » Mon Mar 26, 2012 1:10 am

Took my manta ray 14 out fishing this morning. Was on the water before sunrise, sound of turkey's and nature. Caught 2 small large mouth, I now purchased a lowrance X-4 pro, ordered more stuff from HOOK 1, all for 23 inches of fish. This can't be good for me. Tomorrow I'm installing my anchor trolley. All I'm doing is looking at others pics of kayaks, fish, dreaming of kayak fishing, and trying to get out of work a little earlier so I can go fishing. I blame all of you for this. Gotta go! Need to check weather for the morning in case I get out of work early and can go fishing.

You'll find a balance. Just don't cut the corners all the time and you'll be good.
Also, sighting poor mental health as a reason to use a sick day is encouraged. Especially if you know it's a good day to fish (every day).

I think you should un-curse KBF.

Yes, it's an addiction, the only thing that can cure it is more kayaks, more rigging, more gear and more fishing. NOT necessarily in that order. More fishing buddies with the same addiction will help, sorta like AA but when you call your buddies, they won't try and talk you out of fishing, they will talk you into night fishing, into the next day and try and help you decide where to go.. and a trip to bass pro, wal mart, dicks, or the local bait shop on the way.

Oh, i'm beginning to feel the urge to tie flies.. wishin I was fishin....
quick, someone find a fishing show on cable.

Tonight is the first time I noticed it was WHISKER! That makes so much more sense I've been thinking for a year, "man. I like bourbon, but this guy REALLY likes it!" I've even told friends of mine, "hey, did you see that post the Whiskey Wrangler made?"...Yeah I've even been trying to rationalize it... I thought maybe your job was to transport the casks around the distillery or something. -knobcreekman

X3. A friend recommended this site a couple years ago. Lets just say it's cost me a bunch of money. Money well spent in my opinion!
