Trust me, at AEP for some of the ponds a cart would be handy. Especially following that ;) (James Brown, tigerstriped, bassfishing, kayak hauling through all kind of terrain, Wade aka w2n) to some of the best fishing sites ;) . Oh and your kayak will have battle scars, scratches, nicks, cuts, grooves, and dents, but consider it then as being battle worn...and tested, and a worthy sacrafice to the AEP gods.

Man, I wish I wasn't working that weekend. I would love to hit up AEP with a big group and go out ready to divide/conquer. There is some great fishing up there, but you have to get out away from the stuff that is easily accessable. You can spend days up there catching 12-15" fish non-stop, but if you wanna catch the big fish, you gotta put in the time to find the quality spots.

I've made it my goal this year to spend the majority of my trips to AEP scouting out new water in hopes of finding more honey holes. I've got a few ponds I hike into that have some quality fish in them, but I would love to find a few that have great kayak fishing. Last week I fished three new ponds, all over half a mile hike in, and caught plenty of fish. The biggest was pulled out by a buddy @ 3.9lbs, but larger fish were seen, and it was obvious the ponds weren't fished a ton.

If anyone would like to meet up at AEP sometime through the week in fish, let me know. I work shift work, so I have a lot of free time, and AEP is only 45 minutes from the house. I would love to meet up with a fellow KBF member and enjoy a day on the water!

I will for sure be there, just to wake up to Wade playing James Brown 8-) (GET UP, GET ON UP) 8-). I could maybe make it down there on Sept. 6th just to make sure we can get the hill. And maybe set an xtra tent in front of one of the lakeside campsite ponds  as a psuedo camping area for easy ascess to the water  .

PLEASE TELL ME IT'S NOT 74

Well I am possibly done for the year to even think of getting back into a kayak as I got into more bad news concerning my shoulders with impending neck and shoulder surgeries soming in July after I am done with therapy this month. I am so depressed that I cant do what I want to do is fish out of the yak. Sure gonna miss out on another outing!
