Are the September 7th and 8th firm dates? I want to get it on the calender before my wife does.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, yes Alan they are.

As of now I'm in. The five hour drive won't be to bad and totally worth it. I'm trying to get a buddy to come along as well. Does anyone know if Ohio does a three or seven day out of state license? I am on my phone now so when I get a chance to get to my PC I will look into it more.

Locate, close with, and destroy the enemy, by fire and maneuver. Or repel the enemies assault by fire and close combat.

There are some big bass there, so could definately be worth the trip. Yes, Ohio does a 3 day out of state license, but no 7 day (I think). I'm pretty sure it's 1 day, 3 day, or year.
