I have an itch I really want to scratch and that is to fish a kayak tournament on some rivers/creeks. I know it is hot during the summer but if you guys look back at years past I have consistently landed a lot of big shoal bass and just fish in general during the summer. I was thinking of pickIng a weekend in August to throw a "pot" tournament, as you will. Was planning on holding it on the Upper Ocmulgee and it's surrounding rivers/creeks similar to the finale Riverbassin held out of Macon a few years back. The entry fee could be low, something like 30-50 bucks and we break it down to where the top two or three split 80-90% of the money and then the rest can go to a big fish pot. Would anyone be interested in something like this????? Any ideas????
