7/14 Quickie before my vacation!

Went out on Lake Tranquilechee this morning from 5:30 to 9:00 for some quick action before I leave for vacation. I fly out to Puerto Rico this evening and was fishing this morning while i hadnt even packed! lol gotta love the addiction! We have had a lot of rain here in Tn so the water was stained and the bite was slow. Everything that usually works for me was not producing any hits. I switched to a weightless pumpkin seed senko with a chartreuse tip and hooked up with a 14 inch bass first cast on the drop! Went over to my honey hole where the beaver hut is, and it didn't produce anything... Today was the first day I have not caught anything at the beaver hut! On my way back to the truck I caught two more around 13 inches. Had a blast this morning and see y'all in a week!

With largemouth the little guys give you a good fight and sometimes the big ones just float in...funny, huh? Smallmouth are a different story...
