June 6th, 2009 - Va Beach Cobia Trip

Looking for anyone interested in a cobia trip on June 6th. I have not tried cobia fishing from a kayak before and would prefer to have an expirenced cobia kayak angler in the group to provide some instruction. That's not to say I can't do it, I'm just thinking safety reasons... Post up if there is any interest.

Tina and I should be up for the day trip on the 6th unless something changes. I am off on saturdays for now. Tina says she will at least ride down with us, but she might not be up for the fishing. If she decides NOT to go, we can meet up and take MY truck and trailer...

Let's see how things play out between now and then, but I am certainly up for it unless the docs HAVE to cut on me before then. (Bastards.)



BTW... "I" have never fished for Cobia, but we can draft one of the TKAA guys that has a clue, or kidnapp knotright if he is available.

I should be able to make it. I will let you know as it get's closer. If I can't go, I can at least meet up with you guys and give you some advice, tips and suggestions. I have done almost everything that you can do wrong for cobia fishing. I also have caught a few, so I think that I am qualified to help out. You should also PM Kayak Kevin and see if he is down, I don't know what he has going that weekend, but he is very knowledgable for chasing the man in the brown suit.
