June FOTM How to tie the GONZO

Man that was very detailed and cool. Now can you do one of those on how to throw a fly rod??

Lemme see what I can do... As for the pointy end rattles.. I normally make the pointy end the rear end and it helps a little. Another little trick.. use a different color thread to attach the rattle and secure the tail.. if it makes youur fly look more like the innards of a small fish use a darker thread... I am gonna do up a couple more flies I use down here for Bass and post 'em up too... I am looking at a gurgler... they are destroying my brown ones faster then I can tie 'em, Sea Deucers are working here as well, tied a little smaller though and I have a quasi-Dragon fly pattern I used in Iraq and it's slayin the bass and bream here...

Absolutely Brother... I'll trade ya for a couple of those beetles... I have a feelin they will be killers here at the house pond...
