Headed out to the iron ships in the morning, just wanted to know what yall do to keep your eels alive? Was thinkin about putting them in a wet towell and placing them in a cooler on some ice. From waht I was told thay dont stay alive in non ariated water. Targeting Cobias, and what ever else will jump on the line !

ya as long as there moist they will stay alive, also the colder they are the slower they move the more time you have to play with them before they knot up on ya.

Put them in a small soft side cooler. Fold up newspaper and wet it. Put some ice under it and dump off the excess water as it melts. They will last a long time this way!!!
