They are almost Yankees, almost in West Virginia and they can hit Maryland with a rock. Stop by and see what they are catchin', where they are fishin' and what is bitin'..........

Veterans like myself appreciate companies that honor this day.

Think so. Would have to be late morning though. I need to see my son off to school at 730.

I would be at Locke's Landing and started closer to 9, after dropping my wife off at work. Will talk later.

Locke's Landing is on way to Berryville, in Clark County. It's actually the first ramp upstream of Rt 7 bridge. Go over the bridge and take 3rd road to right (Chilly Hollow Rd), stay on that road, go past Watermellon park and ramp is on left.

If it's easier, I can give you a time when I'll be leaving Leesburg from dropping my wife off and you can follow me from Leesburg

I will probably just meet you out their, it looks pretty easy to find. I see where the park is, but can't tell for sure where the boat ramp is at. As long as it is on that stretch of Locke's Mill Road right after Watermelon park I think I will find it alright. If you definitely decide to go PM me your contact info and I will look forward to seeing you out on the water.

Also keep in mind that this is the week of the full moon cycle - not sure of what impact that will have on their feeding or not, so an early morning outing may not be the optimal time.

It looks like I am going to pass this time Doug - we are having a CVA HOW event in town that I just remembered I had committed to a while back. Sorry. Maybe next time!!!

I agree - full moon cycle makes it harder unless we have overcast skys during the full moon.

But ... I go when family & work obligations allow so get out there. You may have to work a little harder, stay on your A-Game a little longer, but the rewards are worth it.

Same here, which is why I'll be out Friday.

Just go a little ways past park and ramp is on left and parking on right. Sign is there. It's at the end of the big island right across from the park. I should be there by 8:45, 9 at latest. I'll be red Rav4. I'll PM you cell phone # later.
