Those are some good looking fish. I have never caught a hybrid but i hear they fight like mad.

This is what is said to be in the local lake I like to fish… I have seen a bunch of pictures! But no luck as of yet catching any of them…. That is #1 on my to do list this year!!

They are a blast to catch. They were keyed in on shad schools and busting them. I don't have a ton of experience with catching them, but I think you are best off down lining live bait when they are not busting shad schools. Hope to get on some more next trip out.

It is pretty exciting here to out on the water bass fishing when they start destroying the shad. Those are good size hybrids!

Nice Hybrids. I used to catch them in the Ohio River upstream of Wheeling, WV. They pull like crazy in the tailrace of a dam!
